Top marks
Date of news/blog: 27th September 2024The catering and hospitality team at Foxhunters are celebrating another success after hygiene standards in the kitchens were given top marks by Inspectors.
The home recently received the maximum food hygiene 5-star rating in the Government inspections that check on how food is managed, handled, stored, and prepared and the cleanliness of facilities.
The inspections cover every premise where food is supplied, sold, or consumed including pubs, restaurants, hotels, and takeaways as well as venues such as schools, hospitals, and care homes.
Kyle James, Foxhunters Head Chef, said the need for high standards is vital at Foxhunters and our other Dormy Care Communities.
“We work to higher than industry standards and so it is good to be recognised in this way with the highest possible rating,” he said.
Dormy Care Communities Executive Chef James Thomas said: “We are delighted to have once again achieved the maximum rating for food hygiene and safety at Foxhunters.
“It’s testament to Kyle and the rest of the team who work so diligently to maintain the very highest standards in our kitchens.”
