Lucy has been shortlisted for Care Home Worker of the Year in the Bournemouth Daily Echo Proud to Care Awards 2018!
Lucy is our very own ‘singing carer’!
Lucy is so proactive with activities, particularly anything musical. It might be arranging a sing-a-long in the lounge or just bursting into song – which our residents love. She is so full of energy and ideas and really does underestimate the effect her positive nature has on residents and staff alike!
Music is key to unlocking memories and feelings particularly in a home looking after residents with dementia and Lucy has been put forward for Music Therapy training so she can help further enhance the lives of the ladies and gentleman living at Pine Martin Grange.
We are so proud that Lucy is a finalist and is a worthy winner of this award!
