Sharing memories and reminiscing are important as you get older and in a recent one-to-one session, our Activities Coordinator Reka spent time with one of our gentlemen Tim who shared his hiking adventures to the Brecon Beacons and other places he used to visit.
Learning Every Day
In the latest session, our sewing teacher showed everyone how to make make reversible Japanese knot bags and the results were very impressive!
Family time
Our ladies and gents were joined by their families, friends and staff for our first BBQ party. The weather didn’t play ball but it didn’t prevent us from having a good time indoors instead.
Live Music Therapy
We were, therefore, delighted to have our first live concert at Glenburnie Lodge recently when we welcomed the wonderful singer Craig Balien.
Keeping Active
At Glenburnie Lodge we work with a national company called Move it or Lose it! who deliver exercise classes in care homes.
