A t Brockington House, we will provide personalised dementia care to the ladies and gentlemen that live with us. It is our mission to help people live well with dementia by getting to know the individual and providing the very highest level of care possible, whilst encouraging independence.
Helping residents remain active through daily activities
We will have daily planned activities, tailored towards people living with dementia. Many of these include things like arts and crafts, music classes, movie nights, pet therapy and garden activities, encouraging engagement and participation for ladies and gentlemen with dementia. We believe this is an important factor in positive wellbeing and quality of life.
Specially designed and purpose-built home in Hereford
Brockington House has been deliberately purpose-built with a warm and inviting interior as well as signage aids and memory prompts. Much of our signage has been specially designed to include icons as well as wording, so that it is easy to read and navigate your way around the home. We want Brockington House to feel like a home from home. We invite residents to furnish their rooms with special items from home so that they feel as comfortable as possible in their surroundings.
