Brockington House Now Open!
Date of news/blog: 5th August 2019After years of hard work and planning, our latest Dormy Care Communities home is now open. Brockington House in Hereford is a luxury purpose-built home and is the fourth addition to our luxury care home group.
With 70 fully furnished ensuite bedrooms, the home has been professionally designed throughout and offers residential, nursing and dementia care. Set in a beautiful leafy location with plenty of outside space, the home also boasts stunning landscaped gardens with raised flower beds and potting sheds as well as outdoor seating areas.
There is a range of outstanding facilities including a coffee lounge, shop, bar, cinema, gym, beauty salon and library, plus beautifully designed lounges and fine dining rooms. There will also be daily activities tailored to the interests of the ladies and gentlemen in the home including arts and crafts classes, lawn games, wine tasting, music sessions and day trips out to the local area.
A state-of-the-art nurse call system with a revolutionary fall monitoring system has been fitted throughout the home, offering added security for those at risk of falling. It allows staff to react quickly when ladies and gentlemen need support, without continuously impacting their independence.
Brockington House has been fitted with the revolutionary Tersano Lotus® Pro cleaning system, which creates Stabilised Aqueous Ozone – a highly effective cleaning solution which is even more effective than bleach. It is completely free from toxic chemicals, providing a safe, non-toxic environment throughout the home and allowing us to fulfil our commitments as a safe, clean and eco-conscious home.
