Whether you enjoy quality days out together, Sunday dinners, weekly games nights or a cup of tea and a chat, we can accommodate you and make sure that these special family moments carry on. Here are a few of the ways we help residents and their families spend quality time together.
Onsite family guest suite
We want to make it as easy as possible for families to visit their loved ones, which is why our Foxhunters Care Community in Abergavenny has a complimentary guest suite onsite, so that families who have travelled a long way can stay over. The suite itself is separate from the home but family members can come and enjoy freshly prepared meals in our luxury restaurant and complimentary drinks from the bar with their loved ones. This is just one of the ways we can ensure residents spend quality time with their families, no matter how far away they live.
Private dining room for special occasions
Whether you have a big birthday coming up, an anniversary or a family reunion, our luxury private dining rooms are the perfect place to host a dinner party. We encourage residents to invite their family’s round for those special occasions, so that you can enjoy each other’s company whilst we take care of the catering.
Day trips out using our complimentary chauffeur
If you love taking day trips out as a family, we are well equipped to ensure that those trips continue. Our complimentary chauffeuring service allows residents and their families to enjoy special days out to the local towns and villages or wherever they would like to go. The car is wheelchair friendly, so residents of all ages and abilities can take advantage of the service and enjoy a lovely day with their family, away from the homes.
Get involved with activities and events
We hold regular activities and events in all our homes, driven by the interests and passions of our residents. We welcome families to come and join us during these times and participate in making these wonderful memories. This is a nice way for family members to spend quality time with their loved ones whilst boosting the morale of our residents too.
Making the most of our onsite facilities
We have a wide range of luxury onsite facilities for our residents to enjoy with their families, should they wish to. Have your hair and nails done together at our in-house beauty salon, watch a film or sports match on the big screen in our cinema room, have a complimentary cup of tea or coffee in the café, play board games in the bar or enjoy an alcoholic drink on the outdoor patio. We have something for everyone!
