Palliative Care
Supporting you through a difficult time
Brockington House offers a caring and supportive environment for families and their loved one during end of life palliative care. We have specialist nurses on-hand 24 hours a day, as well as access to community teams and MacMillan. Our priority is to ensure that you are fully supported through this difficult time.
Managing symptoms and offering emotional support
Our job is to listen to the needs and wishes of the people in our care and their families. We provide medical support, as well as nursing care, to ensure symptoms are effectively managed, improving your quality of life. We also have compassionate care teams who are trained to deliver emotional support and can also help with the practical things such as paperwork, wills or letters.
An open door for family and friends
We know what a difficult time this is for the family, which is why our care extends to family and friends. We have an open-door policy and welcome families to come and visit whenever they want. Brockington House will even have a guest suite onsite for those who are travelling a long way, so that they can stay over, eat a hot meal and be close to their loved one.
