Y esterday, our residents at Pine Martin Grange enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of Christmas carol singing in the company of Jasmine, the therapy donkey.

Jasmine is a retired beach donkey – a firm favourite on Weymouth beach for many years – who now offers therapeutic support to many people including care home residents. Her presence is known to encourage residents to participate in activities, smile, laugh and engage, and is particularly effective for residents living with dementia.

Everyone at Pine Martin Grange had a fantastic afternoon getting in the Christmas spirit with Jasmine – both residents and staff! Community engagement is so important and all of our homes actively invite people in to give the ladies and gentlemen who live with us the best possible experience.
